We tend to leave late and then try and make up for the lost time by driving rashly on the roads. In India, you can see people drive slowly while busy on their mobile calls, driving rash, changing lanes unnecessarily, park wrongly on the side of high traffic roads, not giving way to others in traffic jam areas, honk unnecessarily. In India, maybe people will slowly learn to become a caring people, comfortable with sharing spaces and resources.
Most people are held back not by their innate ability, but by their mindset. They think intelligence is fixed, but it isn't. Your brain is like a muscle. The more you use it and struggle, the more it grows. New research shows we can take control of our ability to learn. We can all become better learners.
